Emily Hall is the Crime Victim Advocate with the Acworth Police Department. Emily has a


bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a concentration in forensic behavioral science and a


master's degree in forensic psychology with a concentration in police psychology. Emily started


her career at the Acworth Police Department as a Victim Advocate Intern. After completing her


internship, Emily worked at LiveSafe Resources, the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault


Center for Cobb County. Emily gained experience as a domestic violence advocate, sexual


assault advocate, elder abuse advocate and legal advocate. In 2023, Emily went back to the


Acworth Police Department after the creation of the innovative Crime Victim Advocate role.


Emily has used her experience and education to build the role into a successful tool in assisting


crime victims and those in need in the community. In her free time Emily enjoys spending time


with her family and playing her guitar!
