For over 30 years Leo Williams has been serving the underserved and marginalized communities by providing advocates and service providers with the tools and knowledge they need to address the systematic issues that can and has prevented services to members in these communities

As the Director of Culturally Specific Outreach for Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence Leo is charged with developing and facilitating “culturally specific” trainings for Georgia’s advocates who serve all survivors of gender-base violence, sexual assault, and domestic violence on the best practices when working with survivors from the under- resourced and marginalized communities. Trainings include but not limited to LGBTQIA+, Transgender, African American, Immigrant, Latinx, and Asian & Pacific Islander.
